Hello Michael, I just wanted to leave a comment to tell you that I came across these pics while searching the internet. I actually lived in Cardwell during my childhood and I love to find pictures of the places I remember. I lived in the "purple building" across from the gym. I was there from 5th to 9th grade.( I'm now 28 and back in the states and living in NY) I really loved it and miss it a lot, so it was great to see all your pics.

The series is called Good Night America and shows more images from Cardwell and other facilities. Now the Cardwell housing area is a construcion site, all the buildings got balconies and some are already rented out. It's all different now and I still miss the old times with you guys living there. It was a great neighborhood. If you like, I can send you some pics how it looks today, especially the building you lived in.
