Two Way Lens and Chip Simone

Two Way Lens proudly presents Chip Simone.

I am very happy and excited that Two Way Lens goes on with another outstanding photographer.

Chip Simone is an Atlanta based photographer. He worked in this field for more than 40 years. His work has been exhibited internationally and is included in many private and public collections such as 
The Museum of Modern Art, The High Museum of Art, The Houston Museum of Fine Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, and the Sir Elton John Photography Collection.

He was educated in the history and traditions of creative photography at the Rhode Island School of Design (1964-67) where he studied with renowned photographer Harry Callahan.

James Friedman - Self-Portraits

Self -Portraits from Oblivion is a new series by photographer James Friedman. When I saw this body of work the first time, I was captivated and looked at it again and again. The photographs had such a strong visual impact on me that I can't get them out of my mind.

Photography Auction for fire victims of La Gomera, Spain


La Gomera based photographer Oliver Weber needs your help to raise money for the victims of the recent forest fires on the island of La Gomera.

The recent devastating forest fires on the island of La Gomera (next to Tenerife, Spain) caused the inhabitants to lose everything- a home to live, animals, fields, The situation is serious.
For the benefits of the inhabitants Oliver Weber (MD and photographer) and his wife Alexandra MD) , which are living and practising in a GP office in Valle Gran Ray/La Gomera , offer 2 pictures series of the mystical nature photography series "The Magical Forest" by Oliver Weber on the PHOTOKINA 2012 and on Ebay for an auction. These picture series were taken in the February 2012 and show the "Garajonay"- a national park of the UNESCO of the canary islands. This forest , which belongs to the inheritance of the nature of the world, lost hundreds of hectare through the fires.

This auction is designed to raise money for the residents of this area, to help them recover from this tragedy, and to try recover the Garajonay National Park which has also been impacted by this tragedy.
All the money raised will go for this cause.
