Le Paysage Romantique (The Romantic Landscape)

At the moment I am in a process where I can hardly stop working. After a trip to France I continued the work on Germantales but started also to think of the image or the imagination of the romantic landscape in general. The results are very surreal and fairy tale like.

Germantales

The last post was already a few weeks ago. I was very busy with creating new works. These are the first few photos from my new series called Germantales. This series is about the cliché of the romantic German landscape we know from paintings of Caspar David Friedrich. In some ways this cliché is still true, the works are full of beauty and romantic and the colors are either saturated or faded, in any case somehow unreal.
