Call for entries

Liz Kuball had a great idea. She started an online exhibition project for everyone who got rejected at Critical Mass. And there aren't so few of us who had made the same experience as Liz.

So get your photo out and send it to Liz. But you have to hurry, the deadline is already today!!!

Here is what she wrotes about her project:

Call for entries: Critical Mass rejects
If you entered Critical Mass this year, and you didn’t get in, take heart: You can be part of a one-time-only group show right here on my blog. Send me your favorite photo from your Critical Mass entry, the one you’re thinking rocked it so hard that the Critical Mass jurors must be blind not to have chosen you. The deadline is Thursday, October 30, at 8:59 p.m. Pacific time (11:59 p.m. New York time). The next day, I’ll post every photo I’ve received. Spread the word.

Note: Please send your image at 72 dpi, measuring at least 500 pixels on the longest side. (If you’ve already sent me your image, no worries.)

Caravans

I just added a new series to my website

While I am working on my projects One for the album and Lands of milk and honey I always worked and work on a project called Caravans because all the projects are more or less related to each other and therefor I mostly work on three projects at the same time.

Below are some examples of the project. If you would like to see more, you are welcome to visit my website and check it out.

The direct link to Caravans is here

Two Way Lens and Zoe Strauss

Two Way Lens proudly presents Zoe Strauss

I am extremely happy to be able to include Zoe to my project. When I asked her, she was excited to be part of it and agreed immediately. Although she is terribly busy with all her different projects, her book comes out very soon and her upcoming show is also right in front of her, she took the time to answer my questions. We exchanged many super friendly emails till all was finish and I can truly say she is not only an amazing photographer but also a wonderful person.

Thanks again Zoe for your contribution. I love you!!!

Back from Berlin

We are back from Berlin. It was such a great time. We enjoyed the city so much and decided to make Berlin to our new hometown. As soon as possible we want to figure out what we can do to make it possible to live at least part time in Berlin. All you heard about the city is true, but even much better. There is such an incredible energy and creativity and so many cool people from all around the world.

Here are some impressions from Berlin, more are coming soon.
